Moving to FG: Montana's Help

For those of you that just joined us, we have 2 huskies.  Zeus is 7.  He is my follower or more like shadow!!  Zeus is very well behaved, but he is on meds for separation anxiety and now can be loose in the house without destroying it.  Before without meds, Zeus had to be crated, but that did not work so well.  He is to my left of me on my bed right now!!  Bolt was born on Christmas Day, 2011.  He is my son's pup!  He is still a pup to me.  OMG, Bolt is so hyper!!  He does not listen at times, but we still love him a lot.

I need to replace Bolt's tags since he chewed them!  Yes, you read that properly.  He chewed them.  I need to get his name tag replaced, but his rabies & license tags will not be on his collar. 

I need Bolt to calm down a little bit.  I have been having Noah bond more with Bolt.  It has been working really well.  They have been going outside playing or they play inside.  Bolt loves his toys.  I think the next thing I try to hide some bones once I get some small ones.  

What Bolt does:

1. He jumps over you when you sit on the couch at times. 

2. He has messes at times on the second floor or in Ethan's room (third floor). 

What would Montana tell me about Bolt?

1. I think Montana would tell me to be patient with Bolt.

2. to give him time

3. not to yell, & don't punish.  

4. Take him out every hour. 

I am looking into get a dog trainer to help me with Bolt.  I am having some issues with our schedule, but I will find one.  Wish me luck!!

Moved to Fool's Gold Last Cheering Season!

 Here are last season's Cheering "I moved to Fool's Gold" Cheering Posts to catch you all up (Not sure how to say that).  I need to update the photos tomorrow, but I wanted to get this all together tonight.  I took down all of my photos here & my other blog & added a watermark, but forgot to add them back here.  I will try to do a post of this so you can keep this all together if you need me to.  Better, I will have a label for it.  I will go back in tomorrow and put it in with these, which I think I may had.

Second stop....Moving We Go!

We are in Fool's Gold, CA!!!  WHOO HOO!!  We have been here for awhile!  We have been busy unpacking, unpacking, & unpacking.  lol.

Last week we decided to get some photos up on the wall.  I used a technique that I have seen in blogs before.  I wished I kept the link to share with you, but if you see this on a blog, please share.  We outline the photo frame with paper then we taped them up on the wall where we wanted them to be hang.  

Of course, we moved them a few times before we got them in the positions where we wanted them.  We used packing paper, which we have plenty of.  This is definitely the way to go.  No nails being put into the wall without using them.  Shawn put the nails up for us.  We hang the photos up.

                         I really like how the wall turned out!  What do you think?

I plan to add a baby picture for each of the kids on top of their school picture (Ethan has a regular picture on the wall).  I also want to add some vinyl words like love or something else around the photos.

Ethan was mad about something, but I can not remember why.  I had to share this picture because he is so darn Cute!!

We left my sister's house early this morning to go to Fool's Gold, CA.  We are in Evanston, WY.  We are close, but not quite there.  We are really close to the Utah border.  Then, all we have to do is go through Utah, Nevada & some of California.  We will be in Fool's Gold, CA. 


It was 81 today.  Pizza Hut was good before we went to our hotel, Best Western.  The kids had a lot of fun swimming in the pool.

Stopping in Chicago!

This post is all about us moving to Fool's Gold, CA.  Us packing up & driving from PA to CA.  Wow! That is far!  First stop: Chicago!!  That is 2500 miles or 42 hours!  I think it may take us 3.5 days to get there, but we are in Chicago, IL for days.  Why?  Details below!  

We are stopping in Chicago! Why Chicago?  Why not?  Has anyone ever been to Chicago?  or want to go to Chicago?  In the comments, tell me!  If you have, tell me what you loved, hated!  I want to know.  I loved Chicago!


We have!  A couple years ago!  My sister lives there.  I love Chicago!  Lots to do there!  Like Shedd Aquarium!  It is 3 floors!  When we go back, we are going back to the Shedd Aquarium with the kids & my sister.

Moving....

Could you imagine moving to Fool's Gold? 


Packing everything you have.  Loading it up into a moving truck.  Then, off you go!  Sounds easy when I type it up, but it is not!  Those who have moved knows.  Right?


We are moving to Fool's Gold, CA.   We are in PA so it 2500 miles or 42 hours.  I think it may take 3.5 days to get there!  We have to travel through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Idaho, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, & then California!! We will visit my sister a few days in Chicago!  So exciting!  After that, I am not sure where we will stay the night.


We are leaving once school is out.  School is out June 6th!!  So exciting!
